Members.com is a website that sells luxury fashion, beauty, and jewelry items at deeply discounted prices. However, even these so called deep discounts are not that cheap at all considering that if you were to resell something, you would maybe get 25% of your original purchase price.
So members.com is a website that reminds me of macys.com or lordandtaylor.com. The only thing is that this one seems to be available in many other countries and it seems to have a more intimate feeling to it.
I like that members.com has large and colorful pictures, but some of them are cut off on the sides so it makes for a rather awkward viewing experience. Although I am looking at the U.S. website, it seems that the prices are listed in Euros for some reason at members.com, which in term makes me wonder if this website is legitimate or if they do not want me to know their actual prices.
All products on members.com seem rather cute and stylish. Even the knife set has crystals in it, which makes me afraid that some of these stones might get deposited in my food without me knowing it.
It seems that most of the products featured at members.com could be purchased at regular department stores like Macy’s and Lord and Taylor in the United States. It seems that if I convert the prices from Euros to Dollars, the prices are not cheap at all. This makes me wonder why someone would want to use members.com in the first place.
Members.com has this endless scroll feature which makes browsing a pain in the behind. It also looks like to get information on some of the better deals you are required to become a member. Membership is free, but not worth all that much. I guess members.com could be used for style inspiration, but not much of anything else.
Members.com does give you a bonus of 10 Euros for referring a friend, so maybe if you have enough friends you can get a deal on this website. It looks like the whole point of members.com is to provide members with exclusive offers within a certain period of time called a campaign. Every few days members.com runs new campaigns so you really have to be on the lookout for what is happening. Overall, I do not think the deals are that great and I think somehow this website is benefitting from the traffic that comes its way.
